little things.

Hello everybody!

How are you today?? We are very close to Friday! 🙂

These days are being so hard. Too much work in the office, and some other personal stuff that take up all my time.

Now, running is the best way to relax myself. My music, a way forward and me. That’s all. So, I went to run some miles after work.

These days I’m training for my next race. On Sunday October 28 will be held the 8th edition of “La Cursa de la Dona”, a race only for women. It’s a race celebrated in order to fight against the Breast Cancer.

The route – 6km – is through the beautiful streets of Barcelona and there are many women who participate in the race. It is much more than just a career.

Well, now i’d like to share with you what I ate today. Some people ask me about my meals and here are! As you can see, my meals are very easy to cook and my goal is to obtain all the necessary nutrients that my body needs. Remember; listen your body, eat clean and work hard.

As always, if you have any questions about any of the meals, do not hesitate to ask me! I’ll be happy to answer!

(In order of appearance: my lunch and my dinner.)

Have a nice day and see you soon!

🙂

in the middle of the week…

…and I’m full of energy!!

how are you today? 🙂

well, Tuesday afternoon wasn’t as I planned. I wanted to go to my first class of BodyPump, but when I arrived at gym the room was overcrowded and I couldn’t join myself to the class. Now, I know that the next time, I have to go 30minutes before the class starts! 😉

But, every cloud has a silver lining so, I went to the Fitness Room and this was my workout:

Not bad. 😉

More things! Do you know what day was y’day? Yes… Wednesday! The day of bloggers! hehehe I’d like to thank Jenn. Her amazing initiave offers the possibility to meet a lot of interesting bloggers!

Let’s starts with what I ate!

Breakfast

Lately, my breakfast is always the same. Overnight oatmeal with blueberries and almonds. This time, I added  a little of oat milk.

Mid-morning Snack

Here’s my snack. Diced tomato with chia seeds and almonds. Since I discovered Chia Seeds, I try to add to some meals. It’s an easy was to add healthy omega-3 oil to your diet.  Omega-3 oil is usually thought of as “that healthy stuff in fish”. Chia is the richest plant-source of this healthy oil. By weight, chia contains more omega 3 than salmon, and it still tastes like whatever you want! Omega 3 oil is important in heart and cholesterol health. 🙂

Lunch

I had lunch at 2pm. The option for yesterday was Textured Protein Soy with Bell Peppers. All sauteed with soy sauce. And, some raw spinach as side.

Dinner

2 Six-grain German bread slices with PB and cucumber. But, I’m sorry, I forgot to take any photo.

Well, that’s all!! 🙂

Do you remember what day is today? Yes… Wednesday! The day for showing all the meals I do during my day! 😉 ¿Recuerdas que día es hoy? Si… 😉

As you can see, I’m not a great chef. I’m only a vegan girl who loves cooking, loves being healthy and I want to be happy. And that, is what I’m looking for with my blog. Easy meals that I hope can help new vegetarians/vegans o someone who wanna be healthy.

Well, let’s start with the breakfast. A sandwich of brown bread with fresh spinaches, cucumber and, vegan tapenade with flaxseeds; a peach and finally, soy yogurt with kiwi, and wheatgerm. (And a breakfast tea that doesn’t appear).

I have arrived at home at past 15:30, and I have started to lunch at past 16:00 aproximately (too late for me!). I was very, very hungry! Luckily, my lunch was so delicious!   Vegan Rissotto with wild mushrooms, zucchini and carrots. I’m falling in love with it! Really love it! (I think that I love all the meals that contains some kind of rice!) ¡Estaba hambrienta! Afortunadamente, ¡mi comida estaba riquísima! Rissotto vegano con setas, calabacín y zanahorias. ¡Estoy enamorada de este plato! Realmente, me encanta.

Fine, as I had lunch later, no afternoon snack for today. My body needs some hours to rest and digest. hehehe So, let’s continue with my dinner; a bowl of gazpacho and a complet salad – mesclum, breaded soy, tomato, fried onion, seeds, corn and celery.

That’s all for today! I would like to thank Jenn for the great idea she had with WIAW. It’s a lovely initiative, and I enjoy a lot being part of this family.

wiaw #11 return to normality!

Hello everybody!

How are you? Well, long time I haven’t joined to the Jenn’s party – WIAW! The last post I uploaded for the WIAW was in April! Now, I’m back! 🙂

I’m eager to join us -again-  in this amazing weekly food diary. And, as Jenn says… fun… food and Fitness! Well, I have fun, I have food and I’m going to start to do more exercise this month! I swear!

Well, let’s start!

Breakfast As always, I have breakfast at office. Mini-sandwich with handmade vegan tapenade (made with black olives and flaxseeds), cucumber and fresh spinach; orange juice, a tupper with watermelon and some almonds.

Lunch – In summer, I have working day with no break for lunch so as to finish earlier ; so I have to lunch at home later (15.30 – 16.00). In order to not have lunch too late, I cooked my lunch the night before. My menu for today: Gazpacho – a cold soup made from tomatoes, peppers, etc… – and brown rice with carrots, seitan and peas; with a touch of turmeric.

Dinner – Although is summer, I like eating soups. I love soups! Some people thinks that soups are only for winter but I don’t think so. So, this is my today’s dinner. Vegetable soup as starter, and a vegan hot dog in my own style. 🙂 tofu’s sausage, tomato and fresh spinach.

Well, that’s all. 🙂

Today I’ve received a package, a nice package from Japan. On the next post, I’m going to show you what it contains. I’m very excited to share with you!

Have a nice day!

Friday: Manga + Food

Hi! How are you?

How is your Friday? I hope it goes very well. The last days, I have been in a good mood.

As you can see on the previous post, for St.Jordi’s day I bought a manga comic called “Chobits“. Do you know it? I’m very fanatic of the Japanese culture, and I wanted to read some comic like that.

Chobits  is a Japanese manga created by the Japanese manga collective Clamp. The series tells the story of Hideki Motosuwa, who finds an abandoned persocom, or personal computer with human form, that he names “Chi” after the only word it initially can speak. As the series progresses, they explore the mysteries of Chi’s origin together and questions about the relationship between human beings and persocoms.

Right, last week I started the manga and I like it. With this “reading”, I am remembering my trip to Japan. The people, the streets, the atmosphere… OMFG, I wanna come back to Japan!

I miss Japan!

So, carry on! Let me show a dish that I prepared for lunch at work. As you know, I eat every day at work. Yes, I’m the queen of the tuppers. I am! 🙂

My lunch: Roast potatoes (with garlic powder and parsley). Seitan and veggies (mushrooms and peppers) with soy sauce. It’s very easy to cook. While the potatoes are in the oven, you cook the seitan and the veggies in the frying pan. Add the soy sauce and cook for a few minutes. Et voilà!

See you on the next update! Have a nice weekend!!

🙂
